Batmaid raises CHF 25 million from AEVIS to support its expansion

Lausanne, September 9, 2021 – Batgroup SA, the parent company of Batmaid - the leading Swiss provider of online cleaning services - announces a new capital infusion of CHF 25 million from the investment company AEVIS VICTORIA SA (AEVIS). Intended to support its expansion in Switzerland and internationally in the context of opening new markets, this financing demonstrates the interest and confidence of well-informed investors willing to accompany Batmaid in its growth.

Following a first round of financing of CHF 5 million, Batmaid announced last spring that there would be a second round coming in the fall. After Bâloise, the Investis Group and ACE & Company, AEVIS has now taken a CHF 25 million stake in the company. This fundraising is in line with the development of the company's activities, namely an acceleration of its projects in Switzerland, such as the Batmaid Club or Batmaid Dry services, as well as its international expansion by opening new markets.

Already operating in Paris since May 2021, the city opening schedule aims to conquer 21 cities in some 15 countries. Milan and Warsaw also followed this August. Batmaid's ultimate goal is to become a leading player on a European and global scale.
