Batmaid of the Month - September 2019

Having completed over 340 cleanings in the Yverdon area in her time at Batmaid and with an amazing overall rating of 4.7, we are proud to announce that Sara R. is the Batmaid of the Month for September!

Sara, who is originally from Portugal, has been living in Switzerland for quite some time now. Before moving to Switzerland, she had worked in various offices but also had her own entrepreneurial venture, a café, where she learnt the value of customer service but also the importance of good relationships with her employees.

She came across Batmaid whilst on Facebook and decided to investigate. At the time she had been working for a Sandwich making company, however the unpredictable working hours were no longer manageable as she had a baby on the way. Sara chose to work for Batmaid because she is able to manage her own schedule to be as busy or free as she likes, and in conjunction with her role as a mother.

When we asked what Sara liked most about the job, she said that it was the flexible hours and the fact that most of the clients she has are repeat customers. This means that she is able to foster personal relationships with each of them and know the houses well, which lets her get the job done to the high standard which she prides herself on. Being a perfectionist, she said that if there is a job to do, she’s going to do right!

Outside of work Sara enjoys spending time with her family, and in the winter they make a habit of going for mountain walks and taking in the snow! In the summer they trade the snow for lakeside views in the mountains. The family also enjoys travelling over the weekends and have been making little trips to Switzerland’s surrounding countries. They have already been to Italy, France and Austria and have plans to get out to Germany sometime soon.
