Batmaid of the Month - November 2019

With a grand total of 526 cleanings completed in the Basel area and an extraordinary rating of 4.89/5, Estelita L. has earned herself the title of Batmaid of the Month for November!

Estelita and her children first moved to Switzerland from the Philippines, her country of origin, to rejoin her husband who was working in Basel at the time. They have been happily living here for over 7 years, and we couldn’t be any more pleased for them.

When we asked Estelita how she had heard about Batmaid she explained to us that she had actually found out about us through a friend of hers that she had met whilst taking German lessons! Her friend, Marichu S. was working as a Batmaid at the time and mentioned it Estelita, who later signed up back in October of 2017.

She had previously worked for a cleaning company in Basel, and before then had worked in the Philippines in the production department of a company who manufactured wiring harnesses for the automotive industry. This job required completing a 6 months training course where the workers were sent to Japan to learn the tricks of the trade!

Estelita mentioned that the main part of the job that she enjoyed was the fact that she could create her own flexible schedule that worked for her and her needs. The clients she has are fair, respect her and allow her to properly assist them in keeping their homes clean.

Outside of work Estelita enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking and taking care of them. They often watch films as a family, whether it be at the cinema or at home and make a habit of going out to play volleyball together!
